Mediation and Arbitration of
Construction Disputes: Newton Remmel has participated in hundreds of
mediations and arbitrations of construction disputes in various venues
throughout the State of California. A senior member of Newton Remmel is a member
of the California Department of Insurance Mediation Panel, and has participated
in numerous DOI mediations involving complex earthquake claims which dealt with
all facets of property damage from site reconstruction and total structure
rebuild to foundation and structure replacement.
Both senior members of Newton Remmel are panel pro tem judges for the County of
Santa Clara and perform mediation services, including the resolution of
construction defect claims for the County of Santa Clara.
The firm has successfully represented its clients both as owners and as
contractors in numerous mediations and arbitrations in various venues and forums
throughout the State of California.
