Gabriel Gregg joined Newton Remmel in 2006. Mr. Gregg practices civil
litigation in a variety of areas including insurance and insurance
coverage, intellectual property and general business disputes. Prior to
joining Newton Remmel, Mr. Gregg practiced for almost nine years with
the law firm of Latham & Watkins in their San Francisco and Los Angeles
offices where he litigated in the additional areas of accountants'
liability, securities, white collar crime, antitrust/competition and
mass torts. Mr. Gregg has litigated cases in trial and appellate courts
in both the state and federal systems. Mr. Gregg also has experience as
a corporate attorney including mergers and acquisitions, SEC filings,
public offerings and drafting license agreements and other contracts for
technology companies.
Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Mr. Gregg clerked for the Hon. Edward
J. Schwartz, District Judge of the Federal District Court of the
Southern District of California.
Mr. Gregg graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara
with Highest Honors in 1991, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. He
earned his Juris Doctorate degree at the University of California, Los
Angeles, in 1996, where he was the Managing Editor of the UCLA Law
Review.
